Real Life: Moved Again! And Other News
Moving, minimalism, Chinese Medicine, sobriety, link love
Whew! This week’s been a whirlwind! Following a ping, I found a new apartment last Tuesday…and moved homes on Sunday, less than a week later. So glad I’m a minimalist!
I’m now living in a restored heritage building in downtown Victoria, immediately above the studio where I go to hot boxing, fitness and such each morning. The commute was fantastic…but as of today everything’s on lockdown again, so no classes for a while.
Thank goodness for my sauna blanket ($100 off with Promo Code HEAT100 11/20 thru 12/4 only). Also, despite being downtown, it’s actually quieter — no more lawn machines or noisy neighbours :).
I also began training for an additional position at the Chinese Medicine college this week. More to come on that once the announcement’s official. For now, let’s just say I’m super excited and a little nervous. Mostly, I’m excited…and embracing the opportunity to stretch in new ways. I felt the same upon becoming an instructor years back, and tons of growth and beautiful things have emerged from there. Wish me luck!

Meet the gynandromorph. This half male, half female rose-breasted grosbeak is stunning.
Whatever you do, keep one cow apart. A line-up of local social-distancing signs. My favourite: “‘Like a drifter, I was born to walk alone.’ ~ Whitesnake (also the CDC)”
Kids are afraid to go outside. Just…ouch.
Barack on being a dad. My heart.
Go gentle this week. xo.
