This post has been coming for a while, and I don’t expect it to be my last on the topic — namely: Why I’m not drinking right now (and why it’s worth it).
First, some backstory. I wasn’t overdoing it by “normal” standards. Specifically, I drank 1–2 glasses of wine nightly with dinner. That’s it (no, really). I also chose wine carefully, sticking to minimal intervention reds with minimal alcohol content.
